I've previously experimented with a travel/journal type of blog for my spanish speaking fellows. It worked out pretty well. My mom, was my biggest fan, I got my dad to actually read and some of my parents' friends enjoyed reading the crazy stories I had to tell (or that's what they told me). So overall, I consider that first blog a success.
Now it's time for my true and biggest passion: Films.
Ever since I can remember I've been going to the movie theaters. I remember being around 4 years old and agreeing to leave our beach house on a bus with my mom, after she got into a fight with my dad, just because she promised we would go the movie theaters to watch The Witches (that movie is so good I'd abandon my dad to watch it at the theaters all over again; no doubt)
Even for one of my birthdays I asked my mom to take me and all my school friends to the movie theaters to watch the premiere of The Lion King. It turned out not to be such a great idea after all, because Simba's dad died and I spent the rest of my birthday thinking about my parents' death. But that's not the point, I'm drifting here. The point is I've probably spent more than 10,000 hours watching movies. And according to Malcom Gladwell's theory, that makes me an Outlier in film watching.
Having said that, I think is very clear that I've watched a lot of movies, I love going to the theaters, I enjoy talking about films, watching the ones I liked over and over again and sharing with the world what I think about this or that movie. And for those who actually enjoy reading what I have to say about the movies I watch, I hope you find this blog as entertaining as I do. If you don't, just don't read it. I won't judge you.
Disclaimer 1: My native language is spanish, hence you will find some words or even complete posts written in spanish.
Disclaimer 2: I don't write about films I've hated. It's not worth my time or my energy to talk about something I didn't like. I might not have liked some parts of a film, but if it has some outstanding or remarkable things worth talking about, it will be included in my writings.
Disclaimer 3: Mom, Dad and other spanish speaking friends, I'm sorry this one is in english, but I need to expand my audience. There will be some posts in spanish. I promise.
