This weekend is not a particularly great weekend for opening independent films around San Francisco Bay. Although there is one particularly interesting event starting today that sounds like an excellent plan for the cinephiles and human rights activists in the city.
The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will be hosting the Human Rights Watch film festival, which will bring us a very well curated set of documentaries and films focused on the subject of human rights and social issues.
Great opportunity to discover new filmmakers, get to know more on the topic and enjoy the wonderful facilities of the YBCA. Become a member and the ticket is only 8$!
